Herald launches beta version of new Miami.com

The Miami Herald has launched a new beta version of Miami.com:

Miami.com, a new site from the Miami Herald, gives locals and visitors the best of Miami and South Florida, from dining and nightlife to shopping and attractions.

Like your personal concierge, or your friend who always knows just the right spot for every occasion, Miami.com not only tells you about the latest local spots and events, but also when to go, what to do and how much it'll cost.
So far, so good. The design of the site is pleasant and appears to be user friendly. In fact, it makes the actual Herald.com site look even more terrible by comparison.
