That's funny. I'm looking at these photos and I keep thinking, weasel and pit bull, weasel and pit bull, weasel and...

But maybe the judge has a soft spot for geeky types with certain, uh, needs...you know, like guy stuff...or maybe he'll think OC looks so pitiful that he should go easy on him.

We'll see.

Gee, ya think the Herald will cover the outcome of this hearing? Nothing flashy, of course, maybe a note the size of a business card (in some back page, obviously). Nothing sensationalized or overblown (that's reserved for other people, like the Marti moonlighters).

After all, this is (or was) the new star of their Cuban-American community beat, the supposedly promising (and undoubtedly ambitious) bright young thing (nerdy looks notwithstanding). I mean, Clark Kent was a nerd, kinda, or was that Jimmy Olsen? Anyway, this is serious journalism, where looks don't matter; it's not like TV news.

It'd be nice if the Herald, assuming it can bring itself to say something, would make it a tad easier to find than the initial arrest notice. Even though I'd been told it was there, I had to look through the paper several times before locating it.

So, was the hearing canceled? I can't find a single word on it in today's Heralds, and obviously they must have known about it. But wait, I forgot, there's like a 3-day delay on any Corral-prostitution item. Maybe next Monday, huh?
