What about Omar Claro?

Well now that the three fired El Nuevo Herald reporters have been reinstated, almost all the damage done by Oscar Corral's September 8th article has been reversed. I say almost because of course you can't get the genie back in the bottle and several journalists have been smeared in the scandal. I'm sure the official Cuban press isn't going to report the reversal except to continue to try to discredit American media.

And then there's Omar Claro. Claro was a sportscaster that was fired by WLTV in the aftermath of the article. His sin was that he was also a sportscaster for Radio/TV Martí. As of right now he's the only one of the 11 journalists implicated in Corral's article without his job.

Now it's time to put the spotlight on WLTV, which must be an even worse den of hypocrites if they derive their journalistic ethics from aping Jesus Diaz.
