Montaner apparently not excommunicated

Carlos Alberto Montaner, the syndicated columnist that was named, among others, as one of the "Martí Moonlighters" in Oscar Corral's September 8th Miami Herald article, is still listed as an "Editorial Contributor" on the Herald's web site.

Not only that, but on September 9th, El Nuevo Herald published a letter from Montaner in response to the allegations made in the article. A translation (by me) of the letter is available here.

And on September 10th, El Nuevo Herald published Montaner's latest column about the summit Non-Aligned Movement's summit in Havana. So it appears to be business as usual for Montaner despite his links to Radio/TV Martí.
