The Miami Herald published a photograph on its web site showing a Haitian father holding the lifeless body of his daughter. It's a poignant image that certainly conveys the horror of the destruction brought about by Hurricane Ike.
Apparently there was some debate at the Herald about whether or not publish the image because there is another dead girl in the image who is nude. You can see her toward the bottom left hand corner. The image is flagged as "graphic content".
I tend to agree with the decision to run the image. I was reminded of this famous photo from the Vietnam war.
