Shares of McClatchy, the Herald's parent company, closed at $7.81 after achieving a 52-week low of $7.77 during the trading day.
A year and half ago shares were trading in the mid $40 range.

Wow. I sold them at about $63. Good decision I guess though I hated to do it.
