McClatchy announces restructuring...

and 10% workforce reduction:

McClatchy said it is reducing workforce through both voluntary and involuntary separations, as well as managed attrition, involving about 1,400 full-time equivalent employees...
250 of those employees will be from the Miami Herald:
The Miami Herald announced Monday morning it plans to reduce its workforce by 250 full-time employees -- 17 percent of its staff -- in response to declining circulation and advertising revenue.

Publisher David Landsberg said the reduction includes 190 full-time and part-time employees being laid off, plus the elimination of other open positions.
